Noreen's Guatemala Mission Trip - Spring 2025

This April will be my 3d visit to Guatemala.  After the first trip, I will go back as long as possible.  Here is why:

1. Giving back with time and money has given me so much joy.  

When we return, the kids recognize us, and the sponsored kids are eager to see us again . We both count the days until the next embrace. 

2. This trip always right-sizes my thoughts, gets me out of my bubble, and reminds me how big the world is.  Sadly, it reminds me of how relenting and unfair it is. 

3. I want to be the change I want to see in the world- matching my words to my actions.

4. It gives you, as sponsors, an opportunity to pour into something amazing, something life-changing, and to give these families and kids in Guatemala a chance at something more significant and brighter. 

Our goal is to work at the Escuela Integrada, a school for the most impoverished. We will tutor and work in classrooms, host a family night with games and a free meal, and then deliver blessing bags to the area's most "food insecure."
